Birgit A. Almgren

Attorney Birgit Almgren is a highly experienced attorney with an extensive background in various practice areas, including family law, divorce, civil litigation, immigration, real estate law, construction law, transactions, and estate/probate law. After completing her J.D. in 1986 at the Northern Illinois University College of Law, Birgit quickly began her career as an associate attorney for a prominent law firm in Chicago, Illinois. Not long after, she became a Partner and practicing attorney for a leading law firm in New Buffalo, Michigan, where she handled complex litigation cases, representing plaintiffs and defendants in certain cases. Her legal career also took her to Alaska for a few years and then to Colorado, where she currently lives and practices.
